..this joint is absolutely great..
..got in to Stony Brook late yesterday afternoon for a family wedding
..almost 3 hours late landing at JFK, then 2+ hours driving in traffic to get out to the north shore of Long Island..
..after all that, found our way to.. 'Bliss'..
..Ron the owner & Kat at the bar & happy hour are all terrific..
..wine & food make us want telling them to come out to the southern NV desert
..you're anywhere nearby... come experience Bliss..!!

My daughters and I celebrated Mothers' Day at Bliss this year. It was wonderful! Very friendly and welcoming staff, had our reserved table ready when we got there (so many restaurants now, despite a reservation, have you wait!)....great menu, food was delicious.
We will be back for sure!!! -

We met friends here and had a wonderful evening. Two of us chose the divers sea scallops, which were to die for. Succulent and buttery, not the least bit rubbery. Kudos to the chef! Served with sautéed vegetables, again done to perfection. I had the small plate; he had the dinner-sized portion. Friendly service, upscale atmosphere. They advertised $6 burgers on Mondays. I'll be back!

Great place with a variety of reasonable options. Appetizers and meals can cost anywhere from $5 during specials and $40 for the filet. Plenty of options for all budgets. $5 dollar tacos and margaritas on Tuesday's was a complete success. Will certainly be back.

We've been here several times, and the food never seems to disappoint. It's not an overly large restaurant, so reservations are a must...especially on a Friday or Saturday during peak dining hours. There's an outdoor eating area too on a balcony, which is always nice if the weather permits. The house appetizer is bread with hummus, which is very tasty. Highly recommend the calamari, served in a white cream sauce, as an appetizer. The short ribs with mashed potatoes are incredible, as the ribs fall apart with a twist of the fork. My wife got the lobster risotto and had great things to say about it. She's also super critical about creme brûlée, and when she ordered it, I almost cringed thinking about the impending critiques and disappointment. I was wrong. It was prepared perfectly, from the consistency of the actual custard to the topping. Everything at this place is very high quality and the wait staff and management are extremely attentive.
